Getting Real with Jesus!
By now you have been starting to hear all the buzz about your youth and their families "getting real" with Jesus!
Please be praying ! Celebrate with the youth their desire to get rid of all the ungodly things from their life (music, tv shows, conversations).
Many have asked me about what we are doing... some have said that it seems really radical... and your right!
Our youth today need to make a stand for what is right... Most parents (and adults) do not realize the ungodly music, shows, video games ect... that our young people have let into their life... They constantly struggle because their time is consumed with these distractions....
What have I done...?
I have called all the youth and parents to survey their homes... to look at the things they have allowed into their homes that God would not want there... and then get rid of those things!
This does not mean removing all music, stop watching all tv, stop talking to everyone! It just means that we are going to take seriously what God wants us to be and we are going for it!
What we pray will be the result...
Our families will spend more time together because we will not be spending litterally all our spare time doing other things...
We will grow in our love for God... We will be spending more time watching, listening, reading the Bible, doing devotions...
We will become "real." Our lives will begin to truly reflect what God wants... for us to love Him and to be a godly example to others....
